May I take this opportunity to extend Congratulations & Thanks for A Very Sucessful Educative Symposium for Construction Sector @ Berlin this week to you & all the members of ISSA Construction Team with BG BAU Team.

The Takeaways of this Great Symposium with participation from approximately 35Countries with 150 Participants as IGFP presented @ Summing Up Session are

1 Well Structured Covering all aspects of Construction sector involving OSH with Focus on Visionzero involving Technical Sessions with well intended Sequences 

2 While Issues of Developed countries were discussed, challenges involving Developing countries were also brought out with exchange of Good Practices to benefit India African nations having peculiar problems of huge population with 90% belonging to Unorganized Informal categories 

3 Covid19 Pandemic brought out usefulness of 7 Golden Rules beyond Workplace to Tackling Home as taken in countries by India by Federal State government in adopting Rules involving Leadership and Team work ect

4 Technology while important for refusing accident and achieving Productivity, Developing countries like India and Africa with huge population and majority belonging to Younger generation, we should adopt Conventional Techniques with better management of Accident Fatality as brought out in my summing up session which is beneficial both for Developing and developed countries 

5 Awareness Training and exchange of good practices are key to achieve Visionzero which is a continuous journey as brought out in IGFP presentation

6 With Covid19 Pandemic it has become necessity to Adopt Minimum Safety Health and Social Security as Fundamental Rights by International bodies like ILO/ ISSA taking proactive role to implementation by member countries

In view of the current COVID-19 situation, there will be no regulations regarding safety measures. However, we recommend wearing a medical mask. In addition, we offer the possibility to do a rapid test on site. We will provide both masks and rapid test on site.

National Workshop on Net Zero, Vision Zero & Social Security 22nd April 2022 Organized by Centre of Excellence KIIT University with Indo German Focal Point India with Strong Support of DGUV Germany

Kindly refer to invitation extended to your kindself to National Workshop on Netzero Visionzero & Social Security Organized jointly by Centre of Excellence Deemed KIIT University Bhubaneswar & Indo German Focal Point ( IGFP) with strong support of DGUV Germany on 22nd April 2022 in Physical Mode.
The Uniqueness of this Workshop perhaps is to bring together synergy among Environment, Safety, Health and Welfare Schemes with Focus on “ What should be the challenges/ Solutions involving Workers & Industries in the context of Netzero for which Government both @ National State Level are Committed. The One day workshop had Three Technical sessions with a galaxy of International and National Speakers from ISSA/ ILO, Industries, Independent Consultants, Government Pollution Board/ Disaster Management University Professors- sharing their Experience Expertise.
IGFP is privileged to Compile “ Takeaways & Minutes of the Technical Sessions ” which is forwarded herewith for Pertinent Action to help Policy Formulation/ SOP Guidelines by respective Ministries/ Departments towards Safety Health Social Security involving Industries / Workers in the wake of Netzero Measures by all concerned.
This is also shared with the Labour Department of States with request to take appropriate multidisciplinary approach in the light of recommendations contained in the workshop which can be summed up as “ To Have Human Face in Focus for Netzero Vision Zero Social Security Measures being Taken”.

  1. Director @ the outset welcomed Chairman & Members Present for the
    Annual Meeting 2022& then made A Presentation involving Success Story
    involving IGFP Activities on OSH SS so far & Planned Activities of 2022
  2. Suggestion received are- 1 from Mr. Partha Mitra that quarterly program
    may be drawn up taking Sectorial requirements ,2. From Dr. Ashok Sahu
    that different schools may be chosen in conducting school programs (for
    2022 @ KV School & in one Public School) & that OSH relating to
    Agricultural & tribal jobs may be Focussed like the program in Assam
    proposed @ 2022/21.
  3. With above suggestions , Planned Activities 2022 as agreed by German
    Partners are adopted for implementation
  4. All Present appreciated the take involving just concluded National
    Workshop on Netzero Vision Zero and Social Security with such
    Multidisciplinary Approach for Awareness cum Training initiative of IGFP
  5. The Meeting concluded with A Vote of Thanks to the Chair

4. Training of Construction Workers Board on OSH SS Including Life Long Learning (LLL) Through Use of Games /Toys for Safety & Health  Education to Children of Workers to Reach Their Parents.

5. Introduction of DM,PM & safety with Social Security in School syllabus like Odisha Govt & Proposal Submitted to School Secretary Education Department of Govt of India.It was a privilege for IGFP to hand over PPE Jacket for Workers/ Supervisors on behalf of our German Partners led by DGUV including Publicity Materials of IGFP on OSH SS- A Multidisciplinary Approach in bringing together Safety Health Social Security under one Platform by IGFP to benefit Workers & Industries of the state.
