today it is the privilege of IGFP to host Dr.Onkar Sharma, Central Labour Commissioner (CLC) looking after safety, health & social security Issues with the Ministry of Labour.

The interactive program was attended by representatives from trade union, industries, Govt of India DLC & ESIC @ Bhubaneswar & representative of Common Service Centre

 Dr. Onkar Sharma in his brief address brought out the importance of safety, health waige & social security for dignity of the worker & lauded the efforts of IGFP in promoting OSH SS for workers & industries in India.

Prof.Gautam Mohanty will send minutes of discussion which will be placed on the website.

Dear Supporters / Partners on OSH SS ,

today it is the privilege of IGFP to host Dr.Onkar Sharma, Central Labour Commissioner (CLC) looking after safety, health & social security Issues with the Ministry of Labour.

The interactive program was attended by representatives from trade union, industries, Govt of India DLC & ESIC @ Bhubaneswar & representative of Common Service Centre

 Dr. Onkar Sharma in his brief address brought out the importance of safety, health waige & social security for dignity of the worker & lauded the efforts of IGFP in promoting OSH SS for workers & industries in India.

Dr Onkar Sharma also brought out the intention of Govt to have rules finalized in accordance with central rules involving labour code & the benefits of e-sharm portal for informal workers.

I thank Mr Onkar Sharma and Mr Sampath Kumar Chief Labor Commissioner and Dy. CLC who discussed about the importance of social security and specially about sr. Citizens and old age persons of the country.

He raised voice about the work culture with min. Opportunities and safety.  I thank all the officials present today specially Mr Dilip from CSS, Mr Deepak Kumar from ESIC, Prof. Samarendra Mahapatra from OUAT, Mr Basant kumar sharma, Mazdoor Union. I thank Mr B K Sahu for giving the details about IGFP and Ms Sangeeta Tripathy official IGFP and her Team for all hospitality.

It was also decided that Common Service Centre ( CEC ) @ Bhubaneswar represented by Mr Dilip Executive @ the meeting  will take up Registration of Standalone Construction Workers/ Self Employed workers of Bhubaneswar City with support of BMS whose representative was present. besides through support of DLC @ Bhubaneswar & LC Govt of Odisha.
